Our Mission
At Working for a Teflon Don, we are dedicated to exposing retaliation experiences and empowering individuals to speak out against harassment. Our platform serves as a safe space to share personal stories and with a goal of one day providing access to legal support resources. We believe in the power of every voice to make a difference and bring about positive change. Pulling back the curtains on corporate bullying, cronyism and dangerous community alliances that stifles a persons voice.
A Mission to Support
Goal-Create Advocacy Group
This can be a starting point for employees or ex employees to be able to gain courage to speak on their experiences to also share with community leaders what companies are getting away with because of their power and influence. Our advocacy will focus on providing support when going through the EEOC process, applying for disability, workmen's comp, unemployment and filing a civil suit. Telling the story online of your journey navigating this can hopefully lend some transparency and keep these agencies honest and focus on helping the employee and not aiding the employer. Everybody's story does not make headlines that does not mean that their story does not matter. Corporate bullying exists and denial of earned benefits can be life changing.
Goal-Counseling Resources to MOVE ON & THRIVE!
Our goal is to work together to research and share resources for counseling services that aim to provide emotional support and guidance to those who have experienced harassment and or job loss. To help individuals navigate their emotions and find healing. Healing sometimes comes with a pivot! And when ready to move on to the next chapter it will be with a sounding board and cheerleaders.
Goal-Community Outreach
Through the sharing of stories , we raise awareness about the importance of speaking up against harassment and unethical business practices imposed on employees including employers enlisting their vendors to participate in your reputational harm. There is a need to bring awareness that there is different types of harassment and subtle tactics that are used to intimidate. Again, we will start with getting people to gain confidence by sharing their story and will build by conducting mission workshops, advocating for pro-se clinics and getting volunteers to help with creating awareness campaigns to educate the public and empower individuals to take a stand against retaliation.
